Reading is fun!

Litttle by little, we are learning to read! So far, we can read some words and even some sentences that we are familiar with. How do we do it? Through practising a lot with games and group reading from the board. Our main aim is that kids can learn  how to read in a pleasant way.

Here is an example of an activity from this unit that we did in groups.


De a poco, nos vamos acercando a la lectura. Aprendimos a leer algunas palabras e incluso algunas frases. ¿Cómo lo hacemos? Por medio de juegos, leyendo juntos en el pizarrón o en pequeños grupos y practicando muchísimo. Nuestro principal objetivo es que los chicos aprendan a leer de una manera agradable.

Acá hay un ejemplo de una actividad de esta unidad que hicimos en grupos.

Ready for school

Last week we started a new unit: Ready for school. We revised vocabulary from last year and learnt some more school objects and structures. Also, we began using the book, Backpack Gold I!
